Bhool Chuk Maaf is directly going to release on OTT
Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s upcoming family entertainer Bhool Chuk Maaf was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on May 9, 2025. But the film will now debut directly on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, skipping its cinema release altogether.

Why Bhool Chuk Maaf Won’t Hit Theatres
Due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan and heightened national security alerts, the makers of Bhool Chuk Maaf decided to forego a theatrical release. In an official statement, Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios tweeted on Twitter:
“In light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation, we have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16 — only on Prime Video, worldwide. While we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating this film with you in theatres, the spirit of the nation comes first. JAI HIND.”

The movie will now premiere globally on Prime Video on May 16, 2025. Audiences will be able to stream the film from the comfort of their homes.
